More "Search Dogs" Options

I don't know how many other people have had this problem, but I think there should be added sections when finding a dog on search. For example, if you were to type in a male Borzi for stud, there would be probably over 5 pages of males for stud. Included in these are neutered males too. If there were an option to put "non-spayed" or "non-neutered", it could help save some players the stress of almost finding the perfect stud. As for searching for dogs to buy, some players strictly want fixed dogs. If there were that option when searching, a player could pick their breed of dog, gender, TP range, fixed or non-fixed, and find the dog they want easier, instead of checking to see if the dog is or isn't fixed.

Also, many players, breeders more in particular, look for certain colors on dogs when they are searching for new lines. If there was an option to check whether you wanted to see a picture of the dog, there could be a small picture next to its name like our dogs in our kennels. I know many breeders(including myself), look for certain markings. With the recent addition or the Pit Bull, more people are looking for either merle or piebald or solid colors. It would make it easier if there was a box where we could type in the markings we want to look for in the dogs. It might be really tricky to put into the system, but it could be very rewarding to those looking for the right markings. This could be a base picture and give the player a glance at what the dog could look like. If the player likes the small picture, then they could click on the link to that dog. It would save many players a lot of time, when searching for that perfect dog. I know many breeders,

This idea might be hard to fit into the system and I'm just suggesting it's something that could help us players. If you support it cool. If you don't, well then I can really argue with you.

Extra Ideas:

- A Glitch/No Glitch filter
- Maxed/ Not Maxed filter

Except Wajas has spent well over a year perfecting their search system and optimizing it with the pictures. It's been taken down countless times because of the lag created by it.

I support.

For the terming... it could just be Stud and Bitch for, of course, animals that have not been fixed. Neutered Male/Spayed Female, or just Male (neutered)/Female (spayed) for those otherwise.

As for the images beside search results... I'm on the fence. I agree with Johndeer that it could very well become source of major lag issues... but then again, sites like Wajas, Mweor, and (I believe) Woolly-Hooves function it well.

-Artex

Support all except the images. It could be very laggy that way.

I can't tell you how many beautiful GSDs and Paps I've wanted to breed my girls to, but the only problem was that.

I noticed TP shows up when you search for dogs, but fixed/unfixed filters would be great, too. I've had to pass up so many Aussies for my breeding project because they were perfect in every way except being unfixed.

I agree, there should also be a "Maxed or unmaxed" for the breeders who are pick and choosey of that.

I was so frustrated trying to find a good looking stud that wasn't fixed. I found like 6 on the first page when I looked.

I support both, I'm starting to breed only for certain colors based on the real breed so why would I want to look through 5 pages of glitches, 3 of fixed, and 10 who are just plain the wrong colors? -.-

I support the non-fix/fix button, but I don't support the image suggestion. Clicking the dogs individually encourages to take a closer look at the dog. It would also be nice to have the option to find glitch dogs for sale.

I think the non-fix and fixed button would be nice. However I don't think the picture by the name of a dog would be necessary.

As a breeder I focus on lines, color, and tp. But I think more importantly then color is keeping a clean line of breeding were no parents are unknown unless its the foundation or custom dogs parents. I think it would be nice to have a box that were able to click like that.
